Looking some statistics, it is reported that 70 percent of the IT budget in large firms is spent in incremental maintenance of the existing systems. Indeed, it gets so obvious to realize why the CIOs focus is on “the maintenance” and not ie. business innovation – much difficult subject.. Further more, at the consumer side, modern systems turn around on continuos updating too. Is it all of this sign of lost believe in innovation?
